Crude Palm Oil (CPO) Prices at Inacom Rise Slightly on Tuesday, January 21, 2025

The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at the Indonesia Commodity market or Inacom rose slightly again on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. CPO prices located in Belawan and Dumai closed at Rp 13,816/kg.

The price rose by Rp 91/kg, compared to CPO trading on Monday (20/1/2025) which closed at Rp 13,725/kg. While in Talang Duku the price was set at Rp. 13,616/kg.

In Teluk Bayur, the CPO price closed with the highest bid of IDR 13,622, and in Palembang, the CPO price closed with the highest bid of IDR 13,455.

Meanwhile on Bursa Malaysia, Palm oil futures prices rose for the third consecutive session on Tuesday (21/1/2025) on the back of strengthening edible oil prices on the Dalian and Chicago bourses, although gains were capped by falling exports, as quoted from Reuters.

The price of the benchmark FCPOc3 palm oil contract for April 2025 delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange rose RM 46 per tonne or 1.09%, to RM 4,252 (US$ 950.81) per metric tonne at midday.
