South Sumatra Chamber of Commerce Supports the Implementation of MOT No. 2 Year 2025 to Increase Exports of Palm Oil Derivative Products
Chairman of KADIN South Sumatra, H Affandi Udji SE MM, explained that the regulation aims to regulate the export of palm oil derivative products to be more efficient and effective.
“We see this MOT as a positive step to improve the competitiveness of Indonesian palm oil derivative products in the international market,” he said.
MOT Regulation No. 2 Year 2025 regulates various aspects related to the export of palm oil derivative products, ranging from general provisions, technical and administrative requirements, licensing processes, to supervision and control.
KADIN South Sumatra will play an active role in conducting socialization and assistance to business players so that they can understand and comply with the provisions contained in this Permendag.
“We will continue to coordinate with the government and related parties to ensure the implementation of this MOT Regulation goes well and provides maximum benefits for businesses in South Sumatra,” said Affandi.
KADIN South Sumatra will also continue to encourage programs to increase the competitiveness of local products, such as the “From Local Go Global” program, to support the export of palm oil derivative products. In addition, KADIN will also play a role in monitoring and controlling the implementation of MOT Regulation No. 2 Year 2025.
“We hope that with this Trade Regulation and support from various parties, exports of palm oil derivative products from South Sumatra can increase significantly, thus making a positive contribution to the regional and state economy,” Affandi concluded. (ril)
